We are hiring for one of our clients: an English-speaking Junior Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

Keep accurate accounting books and records for the company, ensure timeliness and accuracy
Prepare and book operating expenses in accordance with Group finance manual and local Moroccan GAAP
Prepare monthly, weekly & daily reports (Internal, HQ, Auditors…)
Ensure accuracy of retail sales between ALS and SAP.
Perform the booking of non-trade related expenses.
Perform the booking and reconciliation of intercompany accounts.
Reconcile all retail control accounts including vouchers, bank and customer accounts.
Review and follow up of all outstanding accounts payable balances; prepare suppliers payment and ensure close control for timely payments
Communicate with the Manager Accounting and Taxation on work status and client issues that arise
Properly account for all types of tax in line with the local tax regulations

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

University degree in business with accounting & finance focus.
1-2 years of accounting experience.
Fluency in English, French and Arabic

IT Skills:

Outlook: Good
Excel: Advanced
SAP: Very Good
