Description du poste
We are primarily looking for strong Test Engineers (Automotive Security) with automation capabilities. Proven experience in testing, test case creation, execution, and automation is more important than deep cybersecurity expertise.
Rack (HiL) and component testing in named fields, like TLS, IPSec and so on, see below.
Linux, SSH, POSIX, and QNX experience are considered strong advantages but are not mandatory.
Primary Focus
Test case design, test automation, test execution, defect analysis, regression testing, and test suite maintenance.
Testing Experience (Mandatory)
Strong software/system testing background with proven experience in test case creation, test execution, result analysis, and validation activities.
Requirements-Based Testing (Mandatory)
Ability to analyze requirements/specifications and derive structured, traceable test cases.
Test Automation (Mandatory)
Experience with Python-based test automation and scripting.
Defect Management (Mandatory)
Experience in defect analysis, ticket creation, regression testing, verification of fixes, and root cause investigations.
Test Management Tools (Mandatory)
Experience with ALM/test management tools such as Octane, Jira, Codebeamer, or comparable platforms.
Version Control & CI/CD
Git and basic CI/CD knowledge (e.g., Jenkins).
Linux & SSH (Preferred)
Comfortable working on Linux systems via SSH, collecting logs, executing commands, and performing basic troubleshooting.
Networking (Preferred)
Basic understanding of Ethernet, TCP/IP, and Wireshark trace analysis.
Automotive Experience (Preferred)
Experience in automotive ECU testing, integration, validation, or cybersecurity projects.
Automation Frameworks (Preferred)
ECU-TEST, AmTS, or comparable test automation frameworks.
Cybersecurity (Preferred)
Exposure to automotive cybersecurity testing and technologies such as TLS/DTLS, IPsec, MACsec, or SOME/IP.
POSIX / Embedded Systems (Nice to Have)
Exposure to POSIX-based operating systems and embedded Linux environments.
QNX (Nice to Have)
Any practical experience with QNX-based systems is highly appreciated but not mandatory. BMW highlights QNX as relevant especially for OS-Security-related topics.
Additional Nice-to-Haves
CANoe, Bash/Shell scripting, Automotive Ethernet, basic C/C++, Jenkins, Codebeamer, Octane.
Language
Fluent English required.
