Job Description

Regulatory Knowledge & Compliance 

  • Strong understanding of EU regulations (REACH, ELV, SCIP) and company policies. 
  • Ability to assess and ensure compliance of materials and parts with regulatory requirements. 

Chemical & Material Science Expertise 

  • Knowledge of chemical substances, their impact, and potential replacements. 
  • Experience in material assessment and elimination of regulated substances. 

Data Management & Analytical Skills 

  • Ability to collect, analyze, and assess IMDS/MSDS data for compliance. 
  • Conduct impact analysis and monitor the authorization process for substances. 

Supplier & Stakeholder Coordination 

  • Experience in conducting supplier surveys and evaluating their chemical management processes. 
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to ensure timely responses. 

Problem-Solving & Process Improvement 

  • Ability to develop and execute action plans for eliminating regulated substances. 
  • Continuous improvement mindset for optimizing workflows and adapting to new tools. 

Attention to Detail & Quality Assurance 

  • Ensuring accuracy in regulatory documentation, design updates, and supplier evaluations. 
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards in engineering and compliance tasks. 

Qualifications

  • 1 to 5 Years of a experience in product compliance, regulatory affairs, or material assessment in automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing industries
  • Profeciency level in both french and english
  • Master’s degree in one of the following fields: Mechanical Engineering, Material Science & Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Automotive or Aerospace Engineering 
  • Good Knowledge of EU regulations (REACH)

Additional Information

  • Collect, analyze, and manage IMDS/MSDS data.
  • Update CATIA drawings based on engineering instructions.
  • Perform CAE structural modifications using customer-specific tools.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Ensure design quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Support continuous improvement and process optimization.
