Data Analyst PowerBi

Within the Information Systems Department for the Distribution sector and reporting to the Distribution BI & Data Tribe, you will join a team specialized in the design, development, and maintenance of advanced, secure reporting solutions tailored to business needs.

As a Power BI Data Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting data projects from the requirements definition phase through to the delivery of advanced reporting solutions.

Power BI Reporting & Dashboard Development

• Advanced expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Reporting Services
• Strong hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining interactive and dynamic dashboards and reports
• Ability to deliver secure, scalable, and business-oriented reporting solutions
• Knowledge of Power BI deployment, distribution, and report lifecycle management

Data Modeling & Analytics

• Strong expertise in data modeling and semantic model design
• Advanced knowledge of DAX, including measures, KPIs, calculated columns, and complex calculations
• Deep understanding of Power Query and M language for data transformation and preparation
• Ability to design robust, scalable, and high-performance data models

Data Integration & Automation

• Experience integrating Power BI with multiple data sources and enterprise systems
• Knowledge of data lake architectures and reporting ecosystem integration
• Experience using Power Automate to automate report refresh, distribution, and workflow processes
• Understanding of ETL and data transformation best practices

Performance, Security & Governance

• Strong experience optimizing Power BI report and dashboard performance
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues and reporting incidents
• Knowledge of data governance, access management, and security best practices within Power BI
• Commitment to ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of reporting solutions

Business Analysis & Stakeholder Management

• Experience facilitating workshops with business stakeholders to gather and refine reporting requirements
• Ability to translate business needs into effective reporting and analytics solutions
• Strong collaboration skills with business users, IT teams, and external partners
• Experience producing technical documentation and functional specifications

Big Data & Modern Data Platforms

• Knowledge of Databricks and modern Big Data ecosystems
• Understanding of enterprise data platforms and cloud-based analytics architectures
• Familiarity with data lake environments and large-scale reporting solutions

Dashboard Design & User Experience

• Knowledge of UX/UI best practices for intuitive and business-friendly dashboard design
• Ability to create engaging visualizations that support data-driven decision-making
• Focus on usability, accessibility, and stakeholder adoption

• Knowledge of Databricks and Big Data tools
• Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation
• Familiarity with data governance and security best practices in Power BI
• Understanding of UX/UI best practices for designing intuitive and user-friendly dashboards
• Proven hands-on experience in developing Power BI solutions within a corporate environment
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and solution-oriented approach
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders (business teams, IT teams, and external partners)
