Road Operation Specialist

1- Introduction / Perimeter

Vehicle Logistics Transport Pilot guarantees, for flows under responsability, on-time delivery of vehicles to customers, maintaining product quality, maximizing efficiency of transport resources and minimizing inventories.

2- Activity description

For transport legs under Vehicle Logistics Transport responsability :

• Organize, monitor and coordinate execution of end-to-end logistics operations, from Plants to Customers (Dealers, Fleet customers, …)
• Inform, challenge & support problem solving in case of deviation from the plan
• Arbitrate between priorities to maximize overall performance
• Inform proactively partners/customers on transport execution and manage change requirements
• Challenge and support upstream partners during preparation processes to guarantee feasibility of transport plan
• Monitor and report transport execution performance (vs contractual KPIs)
• Animate with partners continuous improvement action plan (incl. landing achievement)

Leadtime respect monitoring and information to the Network (dealer, Key Account, NSCs, ...)

• Management of vehicle traceability in systems
• Damage vehicle monitoring
• Management of launching plans and organization of special transport operations
• Orders and validation of transport and services (PDI/vehicle enhancement)

• Providing Fiat France KPIs for the Hordain team
• Completing carrier load request files
• Spot Buy Research
• Transport of holidays car

4- Main Interactions

Main interaction with other departments (Customer / Supplier) : NSC Carflow team, Logistics Service Provider, Logistics Providers (Carriers, Compound Operators), Vehicle Logistics Planning & Performance and Compounds Management, Quality, Order management

Profile :

• Engineering degree
• 3 to 5 years of experience
